Dr. Peter Bamkole is a business leader, educator, entrepreneur and corporate governance professional with extensive experience spanning the public and private sectors, including enterprise development, education and business leadership.

He pioneered the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) of Pan-Atlantic University in January 2003 and served as its pioneer Director until December 2022. Under his leadership, EDC grew into one of Africa's leading enterprise development centres, supporting entrepreneurs and developing programmes focused on enterprise growth and capacity building. He has also consulted widely across Sub-Saharan Africa on entrepreneurship development and practice.

Dr. Bamkole currently serves as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) at Pan-Atlantic University and is a member of the University's Management Council. He also serves as a Non-Executive Director of Zenith Bank Plc.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA from IESE Business School, Spain, and has undertaken executive education at Lagos Business School. He is a Fellow of the Society for Corporate Governance, Nigeria, and has served on the boards and advisory bodies of several organisations.

Dr. Bamkole has a particular interest in entrepreneurship, enterprise development, innovative learning approaches and the use of technology to support small and medium-sized enterprises. His extensive experience in institutional leadership, entrepreneurship, governance and business development brings valuable strategic insight to the Advisory Board of AEC Legal.
